Topical anaesthetic cream is applied before the treatment and left to work for around fifteen minutes, so the area is well-numbed before any injections begin. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain — consistently less uncomfortable than they expected. The under-eye skin is delicate and it would be dishonest to say there is no sensation at all, but with proper preparation the procedure is very well tolerated. Lumi Eyes is suitable for most adults who are concerned about dark circles, puffiness, fine lines or general dullness in the under-eye area. It works well across a wide range of ages and skin types. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and those with active skin infections or certain autoimmune conditions may not be appropriate candidates.
